We have a number of sprints, and one currently active one, yet none appear as options when creating a new ticket from Slack

... and thanks to @Luiz Silva , the answer is
"You have to start typing in the field to get options.
"Due to some restrictions in how the Jira autocompletion API works, items are only returned when at least one character is provided in the text search."
