Hi @radhika :

You will need to delete the Features (Jira Epics) and Stories associated with that Jira Project. The easiest way to do that would be to use the bulk delete capability - called Mass Delete in Jira Align, and is hidden under Mass Move. You can find the details on the following help page:

https://help.jiraalign.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000226273-10X-Delete-and-Restore-Backlog-Work-Items

BE CAREFUL!!!

In the Mass Delete view, once you have filtered by the Work Item type (Feature or Story) and Program, you will see the list of work items. You probably want to narrow it down even further by using the tag "j:<Jira Project Key>" (NOTE: this may not work if the Project Keys are similar to other Project Keys). This way you will have filtered down to the issues associated with the Jira Project that you are cleaning up, and don't inadvertently delete other issues.

Keep in mind that once you have deleted, the work items are still in the recycle bin. The help page above should guide you on how to clean up the recycle bin.
