Jira automation to add linked issue URL into destination issue

Question

Hi there!

I'm trying to add the linked issue URL into a custom field of the destination issue. For example:

Trigger: Issue A is blocked by issue B
Action: Update custom field in issue A `Jira linked issue` with issue B's URL

Below screenshot is how far I got, so I'm just struggling on how to setup the action of fetching the linked issue's URL and populating the custom field.

@John Funk Thanks so much for your help on this! I tried creating another custom field with a URL type, but I'm still getting stuck at the same point. I'm not quite sure how to configure the action to fetch the URL of the linked issue, and add it to this custom field.

Could you create a new custom field with that type and see if that works?

@John Funk it's a text field in this case in both Jira and Trello :)
