I'm trying to manage automation for custom date fields

Unknown fields set during edit, they may be unavailable for the project/type. Check your custom field configuration. Fields ignored -Start Date of Stage (customfield_10226), Start Date of Project (customfield_10220).

Have you verified that those fields are in the context for the COB project and/or the issue type? You can verify by

1. Go to Settings > Issues > Custom Fields

2. Search for your custom field, then click on the 3 dots on the right

3. Choose Contexts and default value option

4. Click Edit Configuration

5. Verify what projects and issue types are available for that field.

thanks for suggestion, but I'm not able to edit configuration of custom field.

Looks like you are arriving there through your project settings and not the Issues.

Go to this URL, except replace the yourcompany part with your actually instance:
