In the States it was just Groundhog Day - for those who don't know, certain Americans pay attention to a groundhog annually, and if it sees its shadow, that means there will be a longer winter.
But this post is about the movie "Groundhog Day", where the protagonist wakes up on the same day, over and over. He escapes the cycle by improving himself.
How do YOU escape your personal Groundhog Day? What special launcher or widgets or habits do you use to make sure you're steadily working to improve yourself?
I used to use Habitica as a habit tracker, I should again... I think it is (for me) the perfect way to track my daily habits in one place! Plus, I love videogames.
Oooh, thanks for the suggestion. Mine is super basic but since I love checking off tasks, it works fine. :-D
I just set up "Focus Mode" on my phone to block Apps like Instagram and certain games I tend to turn to in moments of weakness. I'll probably upgrade that soon to something that can have focus times per App though. I do need Youtube during the day from time to time, but I certainly don't need it at 1 am on a weekday :D
I like the One Sec app for that (sort of!) You select the app(s) you want to add it to and it basically makes you pause for a second before opening the app. Most of the time, I didn't actually care to go on the app and just go back out. ;)
