Greetings Community!
What do you think of the Atlassian Status pages including a specific topic for Atlassian Automation? https://status.atlassian.com/
Contrast this with the current situation of obscuring bits and pieces of the status under other topics (e.g., under Jira, Confluence, etc.)...or worse still, not showing any status indicators even though there is an active problem / degraded situation.
This would raise visibility of incidents, their root causes, resolutions, and measures to track them over time. And a key benefit could be fault-isolation visibility: that is, when an active incident is due to a problem with Jira / Confluence / JSM / JWM / JPD, or the REST API endpoints, versus in the automation engine and its infrastructure.
Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts!
Hi @John Funk
No, I have not done that yet. Instead...I created this discussion to learn if I was missing something and that tracking had a status page elsewhere, or if people had other suggestions to improve the idea.
Thanks!
No, I am not aware of another place where there is a status exclusively for Automation.
It's a yes from me 👌
The whole status page could do a bit of restructuring. The idea would be to group apps under collections (or something in that direction), and then Automation could be part of general platform apps and features such as Home, Assets, Analytics, etc. 🤔
Throwing my support behind this as well - especially your point about incidents in the apps vs automation itself and the (lack of) tracking of those different scenarios.
