I've had a handful of folks ask about this recently, and I figured out a way to collapse all the checklists or none of them, but realized it would actually be most useful if you could collapse individual ones and keep track of that.
I don't know of any Power-Ups or anything that does it, and i couldn't think of anything to do with automation since this was purely a display thing. So I decided to try making a Chrome Extension, and thanks to a little help from Claude, I think I figured it out!
If you want to try it, it's free and doesn't require logging into Trello or anything since its purely on the display side. All you need to do is add the chrome extension and then refresh your boards, and you should see some > icons on your checklists that will allow to collapse or expand them.
Link to try it 👉 https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/trello-checklist-collapse/jjioidaienonhpchbimipdikeodbcghp
Let me know if you notice any issues with it or if there's anything else you'd like to see with it and I can try to make it happen! 💪
