New to the group

Hi, my name is Bill and I'm a novice with Jira.   I have used Jira five years ago and need a refresher while I am exploring new opportunities as a Scrum Master / Program Manager.   I am impressed with all of the new Jira features and I'm looking forward to earning a multiple Atlassian certifications to add to the resume. 

I started  with ChatGPT to lay out a plan and joining the Atlassian Community was an initial step in the process.  I'm looking forward to learning, practicing and contributing.

Thanks in advance for any guidance in getting me up to speed and hands on practice with all of the features available in the sandbox environment.

Welcome, @Bill Craft ! What a great time to reconnect with Jira — it's changed enormously over these past years.

I agree with everyone else here: Atlassian Learning is definitely one of the best starting points. And I'd add one key ingredient: hands-on practice. Nothing cements what you study better than getting your hands dirty with the tools directly, and today you have almost the entire Atlassian ecosystem available as trials to experiment with risk-free. Combining the theory from Learning with practice in a real environment is, in my experience, the fastest way to get up to speed for the certifications.
