Hello friends from the Atlassian Certification Team,
I understand from previous posts that Atlassian is re-introducing the Atlassian Certified Expert (ACE) credential this month, replacing it with the Atlassian Certified Administration Expert (ACAE) credential. I also understand that it will be reflected in the Certmetrics portal autmatically. As I qualify (ACP-620/520/420/120) I went to my credential status page on Certmetrics and do not see the ACAE credential yet. Am I looking in the correct place? Or, will this be posted later in the month?
Thanks
Hi @Dietmar Doerschlag A similar designation is coming in the next few weeks. There will be a Community post when it is deployed in production.
You will see the designation in CertMetrics under the Designations tab in the menu.
Here is a post with more details.
New Atlassian certification designations - coming soon!
Thanks!!!
Great - thanks for clarifying this so quickly, much appreciated. I was referring to exactly what you showed in the linked article.
As I hold 4 of those listed [ACP620/520/420/120] this applies to me. I will make a note to check back on the Certmetrics portal towards the end of the month. My past experience from both certifications and accreditations is that these would not show up on the Certmetrics (for certs) and Partner Portal (for accreditations) until I submitted a ticket and they manually pushed them through.
I am curious why the Certification team decided to refer to the ACE replacement as Atlassian ADMINISTRATION Expert. I listed to Mike Cannon-Brookes Loom yesterday (on his LinkedIn) and noted the emphasis on Transformation, not Administration.
Thanks @Ree Kent
Hi @Dietmar Doerschlag "Transformation" takes the place of "Migration" :)
It will show up automatically in CertMetrics; no need to enter a ticket.
