Unexpected things come up at work.
Maybe a project changes its goal mid-course. Maybe scope creep takes over and where you started is not at all where you end. Whatever it is, we can all relate to that "groan" feeling when it inevitably happens. And as change management practitioners, we deal with it. Because it's rare when things happen exactly according to plan, so we equip ourselves with tools to adapt.
But, we also feel that camaraderie when we share these stories. Because it's relatable. And sometimes, really funny.
It should be something that adds levity for this group and/or bonds us in a relatable experience.

I relate to this instructor. They are teaching the dog how to high five, but unsuccessfully. When I create product training material, sometimes I base my work on insights that are not reflective of my customer base and I have to start over.
I saw things like this a couple of years ago and my colleagues and I were in tears from laughing so much, but really it is an important reminder that we need to honour our basic physiological needs and not see being tied to your desk or 'married to the job' as a good thing.
