I wanted to look at the confluence version of the deck linked along step 1 of the play.

However access seems to be restricted, is this expected?

I have the exact same question. Is this a Cloud-only thing or whatnot?

@Patrick Russell - It links to a template that will create a cloud Confluence page.  You will need a cloud Confluence account.  If you do not have one you can create one for free.

Hi @Brant Schroeder, looks like they reworked this piece the layout of the page changed a bit and as you say now they ask for a cloud instance to copy the template too.
