Hi Atlassian Community!
My name is Owen and I work on Atlassian's Media Platform team. The Media Platform team handles the heavy lifting of managing uploads, serving images, attaching files and securely storing data. We ensure that our customers receive a consistent experience viewing and handling files and links across Jira and Confluence.
I'm looking for inspirational examples of how you use Media (images, attachments and videos) in your day-to-day work. If you have a story to share, please leave it in the comments section below!
Sounds great, looking forwards to reading your post.
We were finding marked up screenshots were invaluable for attaching to issues. So much so we built an extension using the API to automatically create and attach screenshots to every issue.
Interesting, so were you marking up the screenshots after the file was added?
Or was it a marked up screenshot that was uploaded as the issue was created?
Initially we automatically added the screenshot to every issue as it was created. This gave us a great reference point for 'before' . Then we enhanced it to have a step in the middle to mark up the screenshot.
We're currently in early stages of commercialising the idea.
