No BS project comms for teams of teams

We’re all wasting time talking about work when we could be working. That’s because there’s no consistent, easy way to communicate across teams.

Maybe you are aware of it, maybe this is the first time you hear about it: Atlassian's The Loop

Although the framework is written by teams at Atlassiah who have been testing these rituals as early as 2015, I still think it's a useful resource for creating a system of communication for modern work.

I don't know whether Atlassian is actively working on the elaboration of rituals 5 to 8 though.

All sound practices. I resonate with the principles behind this. The assertion that effective team-to-team communication often falls by the wayside is something I've observed. The focus on intra-team communication rituals has often overshadowed the need for a system that bridges the gap between teams.

Un-needed meetings are the bane of my existence it seems. That said, on the flip side, there are times when there should have been a meeting to clear something up and in it's place there are 100 slack messages. 

Glad I found this - It will fill my lunch hours this week.
