Synced and Streamlined: Tools That Keep Our Fully Remote Team Thriving

Amanda Barber

As a fully remote team (and company), I rely a lot on a variety of tools to keep in sync with a number of projects and teams I’m part of at any given time.

Trello helps me keep track of my own daily tasks. Recently my team also created a board to track the Product tasks prior to handoff to engineering. We’re loving the ability to use card automations to Jira. We also love how easy it is to add a Confluence doc or Jira ticket to the Trello cards.

Jira + Slack helps me keep track of any bug tickets that are logged so I can follow up on them. We share any bug tickets created (as well as their updates) to a slack channel for easy monitoring.

3 New Ways to Create Jira Issues in Slack | by Trevor Thompson | Medium

Atlas has been a game-changer for me for not only tracking projects’ progress but also sending out timely updates. I’m loving how easy it is to manage the updates and especially love that I’m forced to keep my updates brief! 🤐The Atlas and Jira integration has been improving as of late, too, so I’m excited to see the future of Atlas.

Thank you Amanda for sharing. We are new to Jira and Confluence so we have a ways to go on identifying best practices four our team(s).
