Win7x64 Pro, latest SourceTree
I deleted a git working directory that was saved in the left hand pane of SourceTree (can't get to SourceTree to find out what that view is called).
When I start SourceTree, I get this error in a modal dialog:
---------------------------
Error encountered
---------------------------
'Summary' failed with code 128: fatal:
Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
SourceTree will continue generating error dialogs whenever it has the focus.
I finally managed to clear the error dialogs long enough to click on the offending entry, then clear the dialogs long enough to press the 'Delete' key, then clear the dialogs long enough to click the red 'X' to close SourceTree.
There must be a better way to handle a situation like this...
Sorry about that - the errors are each generated by different calls and it's tricky to know when to stop trying. We have this registered here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN-727
