Why does sourcetree 3.0.8 hang after it is left in the background for a while

This is brand new with 3.0.8. I run sourcetree, go and check some stuff in there. then as I do my work it migrates to the background. Eventually I click on the taskbar icon to bring it back to the front. and all I get is a bleep.

At this point all I can do is right click, end task, and restart it (at which point it invariably decides it needs to spread across half the width of my monitor, which is not helpful).

Hello! This is a known bug that we're going to be hotfixing very soon. You can get around this issue by making sure the setting "Refresh when application is not in focus" is checked in the settings dialog.
