Hello Atlassian team,
I would like to submit a feature request regarding Sourcetree.
Currently, Sourcetree is only available on Windows and macOS. As a Sofware Engineer working on Ubuntu (and Linux environments in general), I find this limitation significant, especially when collaborating across teams using different operating systems.
Having an official Linux (Ubuntu) version of Sourcetree would provide:
Linux adoption continues to grow in development environments, and official support for Ubuntu would be highly valuable for many users.
Is there any plan or roadmap to support Linux in the future?
Thank you for your work and for considering this request.
Best regards,
Daniele Fiorito
Hi @daniele fiorito ,
I see already a request was created with Atlassian in 2015 and no update till now . I don't think this will be completed in near future.

Hi @daniele fiorito ,
As Rilwan said, there are a couple of features requested related to this, and there have been numerous questions in the forums as well. Now, the best bet would be to vote for those linked feature requests (maybe there are even newer ones), note that Sourcetree is a free product/app and that being said, it's highly unlikely that they will focus development resources on that. 🫤
Cheers,
Tobi
