Refresh remote status not working if using external/system git binary.

Auto and manual refresh remote status does not show up status counters in sidebar if I setup SourceTree to use the system git from /opt/local/bin/git (Macports) version 2.4.3.

If I set back to embedded git (v2.2.1), then it works. I would expect this feature to work with the newer external git as well.
