Is there any way to disable the facility of deletion of remote branches in sourcetree?

   I want to disable the facility of deleting any branch inside "remotes" unless I explicitly change some setting in Sourctree (if such thing is there) ,  so that there is no such possibility of accidental deletion of any remote branch.

Unless a branch on the remote is manually deleted, it wouldn't disappear in Sourcetree.

You are right, that a remote branch will not disappear unless manually deleted.

I wanted to ask if it is possible to disable the option of deletion for the specific users.

for e.g. I have my source tree,  I can see the remote branches but, should not be able to delete them.

Hi @Sharad Keshari,

That's something you should be able to do on the server side I believe.. You should be able to set appropriate permissions and Sourcetree would honor this.
