I've taken to keeping old copies just it case it fucks up again. It's every other month. Don't you test against the claimed supported platforms? It makes Atlassian look crap.
There's no real question here. If you're having issues with upgrades, perhaps explaining them and raising support requests might be more useful.
We're not Atlassian support, so you're having a go at the wrong people anyway.
