When I try to install Sourcetree 2.16.10, I get the following error message:

2018-07-30 11:54:47> Unhandled exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File or Assembly "System.Xaml, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" or a dependency was not found.

The system cannot find the file.
Filename: "System.Xaml, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089"
bei Squirrel.Update.Program.executeCommandLine(String[] args)
bei Squirrel.Update.Program.main(String[] args)

My system: Windows 7 64bit

In advance i had a working version of Sourcetree installed. As far as I know, I did not make any changes to the system. Suddenly Sourcetree did not work anymore and I could not uninstall the program either. I get the error message that the file System.xaml is missing.

Hello! Can you make sure that the .Net Framework 4.7.2 is installed? Thanks.

I have the opposite problem, I have 4.7.2 installed and the install keeps whinging that I do not have .Net installed.

I am installing 4.7.1 to see if it sorts itself out.
