Autmatically set Option "Allow SourceTree to modify your global Git and Mercurial config files"

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
When I uncheck the Option
"Allow SourceTree to modify your global Git and Mercurial config files"
and then restart SourceTree, the option is automatically set again by the program.
Does this option depend on any other option?
I am using the newest version 2.1.2.5 on a Windows 7 - 64 Bit - Computer.
