Rovo Dev CLI - "Session terminated" error update

Hi everyone,

We’re aware of an issue where some Rovo Dev CLI users may see errors like:

Error searching Confluence: Session terminated

This was related to a recent backend upgrade in how we handle sessions for certain Rovo Dev CLI operations. In a few cases, older sessions created before the change were not compatible with the new setup, resulting in the "session terminated" errors above.

What you can do
If you encounter this issue:

1. Restart Rovo Dev CLI and retry your command.

2. If the error persists, please reply in this thread or contact support with details of the command you ran and the approximate time.

Great that you are on top of this!

It created quite a lot frustration these latest days.
Noticed that rovodev CLI processes were still hanging around even after exiting rovodev and killing these helped with the session terminated errors. But that was just a coincidence then?

Hi Julien, 

Thanks for your reply and letting us know about the issue. The error mentioned in the post was related to MCP connection and happened recently (1-2 days). If you had the similar issue for a while, it might be another issue. Would you mind file a bug report or share your error logs with us? The team will be investigating.
