I first asked Rovo if capable of data entry in Assets, and the response was promising, asking me to provide additional detail such as the schema, fields, etc. But once I got a little further and asked to create an object, or update existing object data, it came back with saying that feature is not available in Assets. So is it or isn't it.
I was hoping to upload a data source, or point to a confluence page housing a table of the data, and have it automatically create about 50 objects for me, including 5 attributes for each.
Another use case is that we have a schema specifically for creating purchase orders, we then link assets within our Asset Management schema to the related purchase order in the Purchase Order schema. If we order 20 laptops, my process today is to create one object in Asset Management for a laptop, which includes attributes such as Office, related Purchase Order, Supplier, Model, Status (On Order), and then clone it 19 times. It would ne nice if Rovo would do this for me, even if I just said "Clone Asset 1234 19 times".
