Recently, a colleague on my team requested that I tidy up some duplicated code in our service repository. This involved identifying sections of code that could be optimised, allowing us to enhance the clarity of our code and simplify future maintenance for both our current team and any new members who may join us.
While I recognised the importance of this task, I was eager to continue focusing on some of my more engaging projects - specifically, I was addressing a reliability issue with our tier-0 service and wanted to maintain my momentum.
To tackle the request efficiently, I decided to develop an agent dedicated to this task—one that would specifically search for duplicated code and optimise it.
I successfully created this agent using the Rovo Dev Coding Agent templates, incorporated the necessary instructions, and set it to work immediately.

I hope this sparks some fresh ideas for your team!
