Welcome to Rovo Dev (beta), Atlassian's AI coding agent.

Here are some quick tips:

• Ask Rovo Dev anything in your own words - from "explain this repo" to "add unit tests".
• Type "/" at any time to see available commands.
• Use CTRL+C to interrupt the agent during generation.
• Use /exit to quit.

Working in D:\rovo

Hey!

If you used the --restore flag, you’re returning to that failed session with the unexpected error.

Try running rovodev without the --restore flag.

Also, in rovodev, try the /sessions command and delete the last session that caused problems.

You can also use the /feedback command to report any bugs you’ve noticed.
Check the ~/.rovodev/rovodev.log file for any strange behavior — this will make your bug report more robust.

Hope it helps!

I just ran across the same issue. The problem is that regardless of whether you issue "acli rovodev run" or "acli rovodev run --restore", it just brings up the program and exits immediately. There is no chat window to enter the "/" commands.

Have you tried reinstalling acli? because the only command available before the rovodev agent mode (acli rovodev) is acli rovodev auth

So maybe trying to reinstall acli
and logging again with acli auth login and then if needed acli rovodev auth can fix it

I have deleted all files under C:\Users\k123du\.rovodev and reinstalled it several times. However, no matter how I start it, the message "To resume your session, restart Rovo Dev CLI with the --restore flag" keeps popping up.

Ignacio gave the right clue. cd to "~/.rovodev/sessions" and delete the session with the most recent timestamp. It working again for me now. Thx Ingacio!
