I recently came back from Zandvoort, from the Dutch Grand Prix 2025, following The Atlassian Champions Surprise & Delight F1 Experience, with the smell of burnt rubber in my hair and a lesson stuck in my head: Watching Carlos Sainz taking a penalty for an incident that wasn’t his, dropped a lap behind, and still clawed his way back into the race again, it was just admirable.

That's simple: the resilience, the data, and re-entering the flow were just inspiring, and it made me connect with this event. And, of course, the fact that Atlassian now has a team alongside Williams was a big factor.
Another point is that Carlos will be there as part of the closing keynote. Following that idea, I continued to spiral regarding all things Atlassian Team, an event I've been attending on and off since 2017. Bringing it to the current state of the art, Rovo, System of Work, and Analytics, came easy on my "must list" regarding Atlassian in general. Similar to my interests from last year.
Why those three topics specifically? Well, those are three levers that help any team to recover fast, find signals in the noise, and keep moving, applying to every part of any team.
In fact, in Madrid, we launched the first Forge hackathon ever in that chapter. In the case you want to join, it's one week after Team 25!⚡
When creating your agenda, as the bare minimum, I would advise just attending the main keynotes, which will give you an overview of everything that will be covered at this event. FYI: Rovo is the main star.
I'm very excited to see a talk about Teamwork Collection in action, and another one about the integration with Personio. I'm also looking forward to learn more about Atlassian Goals, and other things about Rovo, with a similar name to the presentation I did for the Seoul Community, also about Rovo. I'm curious what Sherif will share there.🤩
Check my agenda here, maybe you can be my talks and keynotes buddy!!
Also, parties are important, so you shouldn't lose that Rovo Happy Hour, or the Bash, of course, without leaving aside the possible partner gatherings that might be around the event.
Curiously enough, all the people I've bonded with at Team 24 Barcelona☝🏼 have
brought strong collaborations and new projects for 2025! (Awesome people!)
Anyways, for me, Team (Summit, as it was called before) is special because of the people. It's the same reason why I'm part of the Atlassian Community: Those wholesome hallway conversations, the hugs, the laughs, the beers, those “you’ve got to meet X…” moments...
Also, the professional conversations that allow you to think out of the box based on that insight that you didn't consider before... one way or another, the Atlassian Team event is a place to grow professionally, almost by osmosis, and personally, because inevitably, you'll make friends. Those long-term relationships will keep growing over the years, one way or another.
One chat, one whiteboard, one demo at a time... I’m into learning, but I’m also into connecting... hence, the Team event.
