You can think of Jira Service Management for managing services inside your organization like requests, incidents, changes, asset configuration and management.
You can think of Customer Service Management for managing services for external customers like customer support, smart ticketing, and CRM integration.
Both share common service management features and both are built on Atlassian's platform.
Existing Jira Service Management Customers will receive the rest of the service collection at no additional cost and can opt-in to receive it now or wait to be migrated in February. Once on Service Collection, admins will have the capability to give access to one or both apps for licensed Service Collection agents so you can control roll out for your team.
