I like the flexibility of Jira as well, but my old manager who left last month has joined a company where they have nothing like Jira, they're still back in the Excal for incident reporting age and he's now questioning his decision to move, at least we've still got Jira!

I started using Jira in around 2016 after RTC was retired and Confluence very recently in 2019. Since then I have been using them both to get my work done. I am still learning a lot about Jira from this community.

I am new here and excited to learn from the community.

I’ve only been using JIRA for 10 days. At first, I was super scared, but after taking a course from Atlassian, I felt a bit calmer. Now I’m using it actively and just trying to accept that there’s still a lot to learn (and I probably won’t catch everything, since things change so fast). But today I created my very first widget, and in that little moment of joy, I finally realized that JIRA isn’t scary at all :)

I used Jira in 2024 during my internship. We implemented a CRM software (Dynamic 365) for a logistic company to help build and manage  sales and migrate existing customers into the new CRM. But since then, I have not gotten the opportunity to use it again. I will be glad to continue using it. I was really helpful and collaboration was easy with team. I love it. I'm open to learning too 👍

Great! I am a fan of Trello and will see if Jira will be better than MS Planner for planning a project and adding tasks, dates etc.

I started using JIRA in parallel with traditional project management tools such as Microsoft Project/ Server/Online, Planview, Clarity, and PWA. I am looking to expand my knowledge and skill set using JIRA for Agile, Scaled Agile Framework, and hybrid methodologies. Finally, I want to make sure using JIRA for the right projects and not only because it is what others use.

Welcome! 👋 I’d recommend starting with Atlassian Learning’s Jira fundamentals courses and exploring a small test project to get comfortable with the newer navigation, automation, and project configuration options.
