JIRA and Advanced Roadmaps

Hi

Previously when JWM was standalone it was advised not to use Advanced roadmaps with a business managed project.

Now that JWM and Jira Software are integrated does anybody know if this is a restriction? i.e Is there no limitation or consideration if creating a plan for business and software projects?

Hi @Clayton 

There's no restriction on using Business Projects as an issue source for Advanced Roadmaps (now just called 'Plans'). You might be thinking of the restriction on 'Team Managed Projects' which still cannot be used in Plans. Only 'Company Managed Projects' can be used as issues sources, if you try to bring in a Team Managed Project, you'll see some text letting you know it's not supported.
