Cannot associate a new, inactive workflow scheme to a project

Can someone please verify you are able to associate a workflow scheme to a project in JIRA cloud right now? I keep looking at these instructions Çhttps://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-your-workflows-776636587.html

There is no "Workflow" option under Project Settings. (I have double-checked my admin permissions, etc).

FOUND PROBLEM: Project was set up as "Next Gen". You can only change the workflow association in Classic projects. I was fortunate to find this in another post in the forum; would have appreciated seeing it as a Note on this page of the Help:

I agree.  This is really a bummer that the documentation of workflows and schemes (not to mention the user interface) doesn't indicate the difference between the way 'classic' and next gen' projects work.  This wasted hours.
