Hi, @Justin Hune

This happens because the default time is 14 days, but you can adjust this.

Go to board settings if you are a project admin or board admin by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner.

Then, in the general and filter section of the board, you'll see the setting hide completed issues.

I hope it helps,

In addition to what @Anthony Morais suggested, you may simply pull off a list of all issues from your Jira project by:

  1. going to <site-name>.atlassian.net/issues/?jql=order%20by%20created%20DESC, i.e. Advanced Search
  2. filtering on the project, issue status or whatever works for you
  3. sorting by resolution date, called "Resolved" (if you don't see it, add the column from the Columns menu somewhere in the right-hand side of your screen, just above the results).

The Kanban board is not the only place where issues (cards) exist :)

This is the way. Learn JQL and you can get most anything you need. Export to Excel and use a Pivot table for this type of thing.

HI @Justin Hune ,

Probably want to used other features depending on what you want to do with the done issues for future reference. If you want to see the trends like time from open to done or how many are done in a given week, then would utilize reports or dashboards.

Usually, the boards are used to focus on the work currently in the queue or sprint for the team working on the issues.

Hi there - sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm running into the same issue and the settings described in the solution seemed to have changed. I am running on the free version of JIRA. Is there a way to stop items in the Kanban DONE column from disappearing or is that a limitation of the free version?

If I click on the three dots to the right of the project name, then click on Project settings, all I see are the following fields:

Name

Project Key

Category

Project Lead

Default assignee

... and that is all. There doesn't appear to be any other options unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi All,

Just thought I'd share that I had this recently and did it by:

  1. Clicking "...More" when looking at the Dashboard
  2. Clicking 'Hide done items after'
  3. Selecting what ever I needed (current options, 7, 14, 30 and 60 days)

Cheers
