Trello might be a better option for personal item tracking.

Sounds like an interesting scenario. What would you be tracking there? Are you interested in metrics? If no, then as @Craig Vogel suggests Trello might be enough, else stay with Jira

Thank you for the suggestions. I don't think there will be much metrics but we would like to organize our tasks in sprints, that is the main reason why we would like to pass from Trello to JIRA
