New Navigation applied sitewide without Admin approval

We received notification of the new navigation via email on Mar 15. 

On Mar 20th we got a banner indicating it was available for use, so I turned it on as an admin, for myself to take a look at the changes.

At 4pm on Mar 20th, the new navigation was pushed out to all users sitewide (Jira Service Management Cloud, Standard).  I've checked with the others who hold admin rights and confirmed that they did not enable this.

Not overly happy with the speed of the rollout, I was of the understanding that we would have time to evaluate and send comms to our users to let them know about the upcoming changes.

Hi Ric,

I heard there was a accidental push for some users and that it should be reverted back now. Do you know if yours has reverted back? You might need to refresh your browsers window as per:

The only place I know regarding dates come from https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/When-is-the-new-Nav-UI-2025-edition-rolling-out/qaq-p/2966070

Incase you want to see if it aligns to the type of instance you have?

Thanks for jumping in - just want to confirm that what Calvin said is correct. For a period of about 45 minutes yesterday, the new navigation was accidentally enabled for additional users. This should now be resolved, and all users should see the original navigation if they refresh their browsers.

Apologies for any inconvenience/alarm this might have caused - please let me know if the issue is still not resolved for you.

I've confirmed that the new navigation has been reverted.  This will give us the needed time to prep comms for our users.

It looks fine for the most part - reasonably intuitive, but a percentage of our user base are not particularly tech savvy and will require additional support.
