@Caliman Forts looking for tools that work with Atlassian products? To track what exactly. For example the use of Jira and Confluence.

Hi @Caliman Forts, it would be great if you could expand a little bit more on your question. Are you working within the Atlassian ecosystem?

Welcome @Caliman Forts

I tried many like Neil Patel's ubersuggest, Ahrefs but finally arrived to use link-assistant.

Hi @Caliman Forts for a deeper SEO analysis, I recommend utilizing paid tools. While free tools like Google Search Console and GA4 offer valuable insights, their KPI coverage for SEO is limited. Among paid options, I've found Ubersuggest and Semrush to be particularly effective. Ubersuggest excels in its user-friendly interface, making it easy to use. However, Semrush in my opinion provides a more comprehensive suite of SEO tools and data.

Hi!

For SEO reporting, I personally prefer SEMrush and Ubersuggest.

SEMrush is a complete SEO platform that includes advanced keyword research tools, site evaluation features, competitive benchmarking capabilities, and numerous other features. It stands out to me because of its extensive reporting section, which provides thorough SEO evaluation capabilities.

Ubersuggest performs exceptionally well for keyword research tasks and tracking.

SEMrush provides simple, actionable SEO reports, and users find its basic insights easy to understand due to its user-friendly interface. These two tools are critical to my SEO operations for generating organized, detailed reports while optimizing my search engine optimization workflows. The tools offer exceptional functionality, so I strongly suggest everyone use them.

I hope this helps! 😊

I know this conversation has cooled off, but I’ve had good results using Ahrefs and Looker Studio together. Ahrefs gives solid keyword and backlink data, while Looker Studio helps turn it into clear reports over time. Curious if anyone here has tried combining tools or found a single solution that covers everything well?

Hi!

For me, the most convenient SEO tool is Semrush. It has all the necessary functions for keyword analysis, position tracking, site audit, AI visibility tracking, and competitor research. Hovewer, it does not give a complete picture of an SEO audit. I also use Ahrefs to find errors, such as 404 pages and broken links.

Ubersuggest is also worth mentioning, as well as a new tool from Neil Patel - AnswerThePublic. It allows you to check which questions are asked in AI tools on a certain topic, where competitors are mentioned, etc.

I’ve had solid results working with a link building agency that handles everything from audits to content placements, which saved me a ton of time. Their white-label reports were handy for keeping clients in the loop, and the steady bump in organic traffic made the whole thing worthwhile. If you’re juggling multiple projects, having a team like that behind you can take a lot of pressure off.

The best SEO reporting tool really depends on what you want to measure. You should not rely on a single platform for your SEO reporting tool. A good setup for your SEO reporting tool usually includes search performance, traffic insights, and conversion tracking all in one reporting workflow for your SEO reporting tool.

You need to look for tools that show you keyword trends for your SEO reporting tool traffic for your SEO reporting tool, page performance for your SEO reporting tool, technical SEO issues for your SEO reporting tool and clear client-friendly dashboards for your SEO reporting tool.

There's no single "best" — it depends on what you're optimizing for, but a few come up constantly for good reason:

  • Ahrefs — strongest for backlink data and competitor gap analysis. If you want to see exactly why a competitor outranks you, this is usually the first stop.
  • SEMrush — the most well-rounded all-in-one, good for keyword tracking, site audits, and PPC research side by side. Popular with agencies because one login covers most client reporting needs.
  • Google Search Console — free, and honestly non-negotiable regardless of what else you use. It's the only tool showing you data straight from Google itself — impressions, clicks, indexing issues.
  • Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) — not an SEO tool itself, but the standard for turning GSC/Analytics/Ahrefs data into a clean client-facing report instead of raw spreadsheets.
  • Screaming Frog — the go-to for technical audits (broken links, redirect chains, duplicate metadata) rather than ongoing reporting.

For most businesses, the real answer is a combination: Search Console + GA4 for the source data, Ahrefs or SEMrush for competitive insight, and Looker Studio to package it into something readable month over month. The tool matters less than whether someone's actually interpreting the data and adjusting strategy — which is the part agencies like Eraxon tend to focus on, since raw reports don't move rankings on their own.

For SEO reporting, I have found that combining Google Search Console with a dedicated rank tracker works really well for most small to mid-size websites. GSC gives you the raw impression and click data straight from Google, which is hard to beat for accuracy. Semrush or Ahrefs on top of that covers backlink tracking and competitor analysis. The key is not to rely on just one tool since each has its own blind spots.
