Join us as a Pre-Sales Consultant

The Pre-Sales Consultant is an integral part of the sales process acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the technology, proposition and ultimately the solutions we sell to customers. They add value to the sales process by providing their expertise throughout the sales process and ultimately influencing sale in terms of overall value (€) and gross margin (%) to Valiantys and business to the customer.

As Pre-sales Consultant you will be reporting to the Regional Head of Pre-sales, as the primary technical resource for the regional sales team. Your technical expertise combined with your business knowledge will be critical in helping the regional sales team define the right solutions and build structured commercial proposals with detailed estimates and project plans.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Attend to requests for information on pre-sales tickets including RFIs and RFPs.
  • Gathering, refining, and qualifying customer needs
  • Defining the best approach and solution with support from Sales
  • Developing estimates for solutions with support from Practices
  • Demonstrate solutions by leverage best practices and offer insight into client business.
  • Maintain credibility through best practices knowledge in industry verticals.
  • Maintain best practice and prepare tailored proposals, and sections for proposals.
  • Help to describe functional and technical solution for sales offer and tender documents
  • Deliver and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) engagement
  • Performing marketing activities (ie webinars, workshops and other activities)

Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain demos and software on presales equipment.
  • Provide input to account plan’s technical portions.
  • Determine, resolve and communicate technical / business presales issues to management.
  • Engage in product training to maintain high product knowledge.
  • Develop job-related expertise and communication skills.

Experience & Expertise

  • Certifications for Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English
  • One or more of the following
  • Applications Lifecycle Management
  • IT Service Management and or IT Infrastructure Library
  • Agile software development
  • DevOps and CI/CD
  • Cloud Certification

What you need to be successful

  • The ability to evolve and interact with a multidisciplinary, motivated team of sales and technical experts.
  • You like to find the best possible technical solution and the right arguments to demonstrate overall value.
  • The ability to present complex solutions to enterprise clients.
  • A strong knowledge of Atlassian tools and a Valiantys practice.
