Xray Migration Server to Cloud

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for feedback from anyone who has migrated from Xray Server to Xray Cloud. I'm preparing a document for leadership and want to understand the primary benefits and drawbacks of making the switch. What were the most significant features you gained or lost in the process?

You don't migrate Xray to Cloud but this is relation on migrating to Jira cloud.

What is your exact expecation?

Our team is preparing to migrate our data from the server to the cloud by the end of the year. In parallel, stakeholders plan to purchase the Xray addon. My team's goal is to replicate the current on-premise functionality of Xray in the new cloud environment. I am currently focused on understanding the scope of this transition, with a particular emphasis on what capabilities might be lost

JCMA can take all Xray related data from Server to Cloud in the migration.

They have a full migration path. (migration path)

Be aware that Xray on cloud works different in some ways as Cloud is a complete different entity then Server or DC

Make users of Xray aware that the working an look and feel can differ, provide them with a UAT environment in cloud (sandbox) and the Xray cloud documentation
