Why do images from Test Rail not get pulled through into the Jira ticket when using 'Push Defect'?

When using 'Push Defect'  button for test cases in Jira, the images from the test cases are not pulled through consistently into the ticket. Sometimes the image does not appear at all and sometimes the image shows with a greyed out file symbol. 

Techsmith Capture and Mango Tinytake are used to capture the images in test rail. 

I have not been able to find any link between when the images show and when they do not - it seems random.

Test Rail for Jira uses a plugin and integration developed by Test Rail themselves. While you may find someone on the community who uses it, there is no guarentee. For issues with third party tools it is generally recommended to reach out to the vendor(test rails) directly
