I have two epics. Epic One of them has tasks. Epic Two stories or subtasks.
Some stories or subtasks from Epic Two are blocked by tasks from Epic One.
Both, Epic One and Two are in the project.
In Timeline I enable to show dependecies
However, I don't see the dependecy lines showing the blocking.
Tasks, stories and subtasks are all in To Do.
I see other dependecies, but all tickets are done.
Do dependency lines only show when tickets are done?
Hi @Margarita Peluffo and welcome to the Community!
No, dependency lines display when you have an issue link between 2 issues. In order to be displayed on the timeline, a timeline bar for the issues must be displayed (if there is no timeline bar, there is nothing to display the dependency from). That means each issue must have start and due dates set.
Also, child level issue scheduling must be enabled for your timeline. In a team managed project, this is an option in your timeline settings with that specific name. In a company managed project board, you can find a similar option under board settings > timeline > include child issues.
Hope this helps!
It really helps, thanks @Walter Buggenhout !
