What is clone? and what is deep clone?. When should we use deep clone?. and When should we use clone in jira cloud. Is there any disadvantages using clone and deep clone?
Sounds like you have the app Deep clone for Jira. Cloning an issue only copies the issue. Deep cloning an issue copies the issue and all of it's sub-tasks.
You can learn more about the app here: https://documentation.codefortynine.com/deep-clone-for-jira/
Clone is the built-in default option in Jira to copy an issue. This is a good thing, but it has limited functionality. Deep clone is a similar functionality offered by a marketplace app called deep clone for Jira, which extends that functionality. Apparently you have that installed on your Jira instance.
I would recommend to check out the apps' marketplace listing to learn more about its features or look at the product documentation.
This feature request (JRACLOUD-5052) may give you an idea of some of the limitations of the built-in clone function.

I suppose you are referring to the built in clone feature of jira and the 3rd party plugin feature of deep clone https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218652/deep-clone-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
One as i said is a built in functionality - that makes a copy of the issue in the project.
On the deep clone plugin features, you can refer to their documentation

Hi @Anumalla Nithinraj - We use the add-on Deep Clone and find it extremely useful.
A couple of things that it allows us to do differently than the out of box Jira clone function is that I can select a different project to clone to with Deep Clone.
And Deep Clone will copy over Attachments and Comments - super helpful!
