Timeline view changed — Epics and Tasks now showing at the same level instead of grouped hierarchy

Our timeline view in a software space has suddenly changed and I'm not sure what caused it or how to revert it.

What it used to look like:
Epics were displayed as parent items on the timeline, and expanding an epic would reveal its child tasks nested underneath.

What it looks like now:
Epics and tasks are displayed at the same level as flat list items. There's no hierarchy — epics are no longer acting as parent containers for their tasks on the timeline.

A few things I've already checked:

  • Tasks still have their parent Epic assigned (the Epic name is visible in each task's detail page)
  • There are no issue type filters applied on the timeline

This happened across all of our spaces at the same time, which makes me think something was changed at the site/admin level rather than within a specific space.

Has anyone experienced this or know what setting could have caused this? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.
