Hi Atlassian Community

I currently have a project called Mercer within our JIRA instance and I was hoping I could have multiple agile boards that can be done to run it as I am logging multiple projects under there.

I know I can create seperate projects for each project within JIRA but I was hoping I could have all tasks in one project but multiple boards that would be visible on one page.

Any advice would be amazing.

hi @Eugene Neborak

that's exactly what you can do -  boards are unrelated in some way from projects.

You can have multiple boards to same projects, as well as bring issues from several project into one board. The one thing that matters is JQL filter that is associated with a board - the filter defines issues that gonna be pulled for a board

Hi @Andriy Dekhtyar _Rozdoum_

You say, correctly, that JQL controls what a board will show, but I find it dificult to show issues's subtasks.

E.g. if you have a JQL with something like "component = ABC" that you fullfill while creating a issue, all of its subtasks, will not inherit this value (makes sense) and will became not visible on the new board, if you have swimlanes by story.

Is there any JQL (without payed plugins) to select isses who comply with a criteria or htat its parent comply with that criteria?
