We have had our self-hosted JIRA instance connected to Bitbucket Cloud for a very long time. However, it seems that Bitbucket Cloud no longer supports Oauth 1.0 authentication and our connection has expired. We are running Jira Software 9.12.1 with an expired license. From my research, Oauth 2.0 support wasn't added until version 9.12.31. Is there a workaround to re-connect to Bitbucket Cloud? I have a trial Data Center license that I may be able to leverage, but what happens after the license expires? I likely can't go back to my original license since it expired before version 9.12.31 was released. Has anyone had success solving this issue without upgrading permanently?
Hi @Shaun ,
if your license has expired how can you work on a JIRA 9.12.1? Is your license an old server license? Btw, for my knowledge the only one solution is to upgrade your jira.
Fabio
It's a legacy Server license that still works but won't let me upgrade (I think this is how all their licenses work).
Anyway, I was working with a support rep and they seemed to imply there was a way to get it fixed by upgrading a copy of my server using the trial license and reconnecting the DVCS account to get the correct DB entries and then going back to my old instance. I was wondering if anyone had tried it.
