I'm not sure if I received a malicious email but it appeared as an 'Admin invited you to join them in Jira Service Management'. I wasn't expecting this so I want to know the organisation that sent it. How do I do that?
So, the URL indicates it is an actual Atlassian request: https://atlas-trk.prd.msg.ss-inf.net/f/a/
So, 1. why did I get it? 2. What happens if I ignore it?
TIA :-)
Thanks @Trudy Claspill . That links says the invite is legitimate and from Atlassian, right?
Hello @Colin East
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
If you didn't expect the invitation, and nobody in authority in your company knows why you were invited, then don't accept it.
I found another post in this community where an Atlassian team member acknowledged that Atlassian themselves uses that domain.
But if you are not a Jira user, and if you were not informed by authorities in your company that you need to interact with Atlassian systems, there is no reason for you to accept the invitation.

No, that post is not on the topic of invitations received from the domain. it is on a different topic related to that domain.
It just verifies that Atlassian states they do own that domain.
