Getting all users / groups from “global permissions” via API?

Sebastian August 1, 2024

I’ve been trying to get the API to give me the global permissions for both Jira and Confluence. While confluence doesn’t seem to have any API endpoint going even near global permissions, Jira only seems to show the permissions themselves, not who’s attached to them.

Is there any way to get the “global permissions” screen from Jira / Confluence via the API?

Hi, unfortunately the answer seems to be in neither of those links. Jira: The /mypermissions endpoint obviously shows my own permissions, so that's not what I need. /permissions shows all permissions, but no attached users / groups. And for confluence we're using the cloud version, so that doesn't help either.
