Change ticket status

There used to be a dropdown at the top right of the ticket window to change the ticket status (to do, in progress, ready for testing,...) but it's gone.

But the columns still exist on the 'board' screen and now dragging on that screen seems to be the only way to change the status.

What the fuck?

Hi @Richard Barraclough , the possibility to transition the work item still exists, the 'Status' button has just been moved to the 'Description' / middle section - https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/Easier-status-updates-for-work-items/ba-p/3068881 .

Move Status has been relocated from its original position to under the Summary section as part of an experiment that our development team has recently rolled out across all customer instances

As per the recent change, the Status field will now appear directly under the work item’s Summary, making it easier and faster to find and update the status of your work. We are moving the status field to a more visible spot, simplifying your workflow and making Jira feel more intuitive.

This doesn't simplify it - it continues to add more click time or scroll time to quickly identifying the ticket's status.  Before this ill-advised change, the status on the right is where it used to be. 

Most important about that right side is it floats/stays static as you scroll the issue on the left up and down.  In other words, the ticket status and ability to change it was ALWAYS visible no matter where you were in a ticket. 

Now, if I scroll up/down in a ticket, perhaps adding comments, etc, and need a reminder about the ticket's status, visually I cannot quickly attain this without scrolling back to the top to see the ticket status.
