Bulk archive issues?

Question

Is it possible to bulk archive a bunch of older epics and their child tasks in Jira Software (Cloud)?  I would like to get them "off" our board and out of the issue list, but I don't want to permanently delete them.

My Bulk Operation actions only give me the following options:

Hello @Gena Welk, if you're on Premium you can archive work items in bulk. Atlassian provided some obvious ideas, but you can use your own JQL too. You need organisation admin rights for that. https://<>.atlassian.net/jira/settings/system/performance/metrics/issue Hope that helps!

GOD FORBID someone would be able to bulk archive work items in 2025 WITHOUT having to pay for yet ANOTHER add-on to make Atlassian usable!

Another option, if you consider third-party add-ons (or already have them installed in your instance), could be to bulk-archive with tools like Jira CLI or Power Scripts.
