Required fields on issue collector- How to do the workaround suggested by Atlassian?

Hi everyone!

I want to make the name and email address fields required for the issue collector feature. I know currently this workaround Atlassian mentioned in this ticket here. I made the custom field required in my request type, though it's not showing up in the issue collector once I input onto a website.

Has anyone tried and would be able to let me know the steps to take?

You need to make use of custom trigger and custom setup of the collector form
