Scenario:
I have a form, to capture data for a request via a Portal.
I have an asset object input field for a Product.
Based on the Product.Type I would like to display a section with relevant input fields.
With the limits on api populated fields, there is no real workaround apart from using assets, but I can't access the fields of the asset?
Am I missing something? This seems like a very basic use case...
Surely there are many people with a requirement to use referenced data, from something as simple as a csv file, in their forms and conditionally display sections?
Hi @Jaco Theron Welcome to the community!
Could you please share a screenshot of your form configuration for the Asset field?
1st add the Asset field on the form and then map it with the Jira Asset field.
add the section for the asset field.
add other fields
@Manoj Gangwar
The asset field work fine, i can select an asset in the form (As long as I am logged in)
What i want is to conditionally display a section:
Based on the value of a field in the selected asset (not based on the selected asset)
Let's use a different example,
Let's say the asset is a computer mouse, and in that mouse object there is a type, that can be wired or wireless.
Many Mouse asset records will have the same type.
Based on the type I want to conditionally display more fields, which are only relevant to the specific type (wired / wireless)
