Is it possible to automate and trigger mail from the service desk for scheduled planned maintenance for various clients?
If you use a single issue to track a planned activity, you could use our Send Email from Issue function in Notification Assistant for Jira and set whichever recipients you find appropriate.

it depends a little bit on your current setup. Assets would be the perfect place to manage your clients, services and send an email on scheduled maintenance depending on asset information.
As you are using standard plan, you don't have access to assets currently. To better recommend a suitable solution, let me ask a few questions:
